Word Association Test in SSB Interview or WAT is the one among the other psychological tests conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview. It is conducted on the 2nd Day after Thematic Apperception Test (TAT).

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR SSB WAT

60 words will be shown one after another. Each word is shown for 15 seconds. The SSB candidate has to read and understand the word, think about a meaningful idea and write it down. You must write your first reaction to each word against the proper serial number marked on the booklet provided.

TIPS TO SUCCESSFULLY ATTEMPT WAT IN SSB

Do not form a sentence showing negative traits like - anti social feelings.
A regular practice of forming the sentence can help you a lot in successful completion of this test well with in the given time.
While giving this test, try to contradict these sentences with your personality.
Avoid giving orders, instructions, advice on your sentence.
Do not write borrowed it memorized sentences instead make real sentences.
Handwriting should be legible without any cutting or overwriting.
Do not use proverbs, idioms, quotations, phrases in sentences.
Do not use future tense, as it is always uncertain.
