On November 18, 2024, India launched the Bharat National Cyber Security Exercise (Bharat NCX 2024) to strengthen its cybersecurity. The 12-day event focuses on advanced cyber defence and decision-making.
Organized by the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) and Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), the exercise trains cybersecurity experts and leaders.
It includes lessons on cyber defence and handling cyberattacks, along with live simulations of attacks on IT and OT systems.
A special feature is the Strategic Decision-Making Exercise, where senior officials practice managing cyber crises and improving their decision-making skills.
This exercise encourages collaboration between government and private organizations, helping leaders prepare for new cyber threats and build stronger defences.
