Of the 75 killed, the majority were foreign operatives, including 17 eliminated during infiltration attempts along the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border (IB), and 26 during encounters in the region's interior areas.
Notably, 42 non-local terrorists were neutralized across five districts in the Jammu region: Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua, Doda, and Rajouri.
In 2024, the region witnessed 60 terror-related incidents, leading to 122 fatalities, including 32 civilians and 26 security personnel.
