Born just 45 days after his father’s death, Prajwal was raised by his mother, embodying resilience and determination to honor his father’s legacy.
Lt Dev Panghal, another proud son of a Kargil War hero, joined the Army to continue his family’s tradition of service and bravery.
His father, a former commander of the Ghatak Platoon, led the successful mission to capture Tiger Hill during the Kargil War, an act of valor that earned him the Maha Vir Chakra.
Dev also draws inspiration from his grandfather, who served in the 2nd Battalion of the JAT Regiment.
