In all tests, the missiles intercepted and destroyed drones with reduced thermal signatures under different conditions.
Data from Telemetry, Electro-Optical Tracking, and Radar confirmed the missile’s pinpoint accuracy in neutralizing drones and other aerial threats.
VSHORADS, a Man-Portable Air Defence System, was indigenously developed by Research Centre Imarat in collaboration with other DRDO labs and industry partners.
It is designed for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.
