Arrested landings are a crucial aspect of aircraft carrier operations, where fast jets are rapidly decelerated on the deck using specialized arrestor gear within the limited runway space of a carrier.
Rear Admiral Vivek Dahiya, Flag Officer Commanding Western Fleet, commended the crew of Vikrant and its embarked squadrons for achieving this noteworthy feat.
