The ATOR N1200 is made in India by JSW Gecko Motors Pvt. Ltd., based in Chandigarh, in collaboration with UK-based Copato Ltd. Inspired by the SHERP N1200, it's built specifically for off-road and amphibious missions.
Designed to carry up to nine people including the driver, the vehicle supports a payload of 1,200 kg and can tow loads of up to 2,350 kg.
Built on a tough Docol steel frame that resists bending under pressure, the ATOR rides on massive 1.8-metre tyres that help it navigate both rough ground and water with ease.
Power comes from a compact 1.5-litre, three-cylinder engine producing 55 bhp and 190 Nm of torque. It’s engineered to perform in extreme temperatures — from minus 40°C to plus 40°C.
