Answer: A) Dharapatta
Dharapatta succeeded Dhruvasena Baladitya II, who was a ruler of the Maitraka dynasty in Gujarat.
It was in Dhruvasena’s reign that the whole of Saurashtra became a part of the Maitraka Kingdom. He did this by defeating the Garulaka’s of Dwarka.
The Maitrakas ruled from their capital at Valabhi (modern Gujarat) during c. 475–776 CE. Founder: Bhatarka.
Dharapatta, who was a Sun worshipper, was followed by his son Guhasena, a staunch Shaivaite. Guhasena was succeeded by his son Dharasena II.
